The Coffin Bros. Control Series, designed by the brotherly duo of Conner and Parker Coffin, is a medium sized fin in the Rake Template category. For the first time ever, Futures is releasing a signature fin designed and tested by two team riders equally. Conner, the older brother and Championship Tour standout, trusts the design to suit the highest level of competitive surfing. Parker, the free-surfing goofy-foot, trusts the design to suit any, and all, conditions he finds on the road filming. Both brothers share a penchant for unflappable technique, which speaks volumes of the performance of their first signature installment. The solid fiberglass construction provides a consistent flex pattern for stability and control.

Ride number

A TOOL TO HELP YOU SURF BETTER

Using Ride Number is easy, you just have to understand the feelings of Speed Generating and Speed Control. On one end of the Ride Number scale is Speed Generating fins. These fins feel responsive and provide that extra spring most often wanted when the surf is lacking power. On the opposite side is Speed Control. These fins feel solid, engaged, and predictable providing that extra hold usually only needed when the surf is cranking. The middle ground is Balanced, offering a mix of the two extremes for an all around feel. Just remember, when you're pumping - Speed Generating, when the waves are pumping - Speed Control.

Techflex fins are engineered to be stiff and light. These fins will give you a solid and engaged feel for those big drops yet be lightweight and responsive when engaging the rail. These fins sit above the fiberglass line and have a Ride Number range of 3 - 4. Techflex fins are great for powerful surfers or powerful conditions.

3K Carbon

3K carbon along the base and tip of these fins makes them lighter than standard honeycomb fins while maintaining the stiffness of fiberglass. This engineered flex creates a vertical flex pattern, which enables you to maintain control and drive down the line while being lively and free off the lip.
